To Our Deeply Valued Customers, Suppliers, Friends and PLD Family,

I hope this message finds each and every one of you and your family members healthy and safe during this crisis.

As we face challenges never before presented to us as an organization and a global community, PLD remains staunchly committed to serving our customers in these historic times of need. We are committed to do all we can to continue to provide the products American consumers are relying on to help stay healthy and to combat the effects of this terrible virus.

Although the full magnitude of this crisis could not have been foreseen, since the inception of the crisis PLD has been proactively planning its response. We have worked closely with our suppliers across the globe to ensure continuation of supply of ingredients and components. We have taken appropriate measures to maintain the health and safety of those employees who are continuing to come to work and man our plants. We currently do not anticipate any significant disruption in our supply chain or our business operations. We are very proud of the tireless work and dedication of our PLD employees as they deal with the same challenges both personally and professionally that we are all facing.

As one of the largest U.S. suppliers of health remedies, PLD’s role as a pharmaceutical manufacturer has never been more critical. PLD is a member of the “critical infrastructure” under CDC guidelines and is an “essential business” for purposes of the state and local “stay at home” orders in the regions where we have facilities. Our employees whose jobs require them to be present in our manufacturing facilities are allowed to continue coming to work, and they are selflessly continuing to do so.

We are carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation in conjunction with local health authorities and have implemented numerous precautions to protect the health of our employees and the continued safety of our products and supply chain. You can rest assured we are as focused as we can possibly be on addressing this extraordinary challenge and continuing to provide a broad array of much-needed pharmaceutical and health products to American consumers.
