Mitchell Slade is Chief Operating Officer at PL Developments and President of PL Developments’ Gummy Corporation. Mitchell joined PLD to partner in the launch of the Gummy business. Since then, his responsibilities have expanded well beyond Gummies and include overseeing all manufacturing operations at PLD. Mitchell manages the leadership teams at each PLD site to instill best practices, optimize processes, and implement strategies and organization to achieve maximum results. Prior to PLD, Mitchell spent more than 20 years in the vitamin supplement industry for The Nature’s Bounty Co. in roles spanning from product development to leadership in Operations and Planning. During this time, he sat front and center on the integration of over $750 million in acquisitions from Sundown Vitamins, Osteo Bi-Flex, Pure Protein, MetRx, Ester C, Solgar, and LeinerHealth products. Mitchell holds a BS in Business Administration from Long Island University, CW Post. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and three children.
