PL Developments scientifically formulates and customizes OTC pharmaceutical and nutritional products to support the company’s pipeline of new and innovative products. In addition, we provide product development and stand-alone services to other leading pharmaceutical companies.

All development work is done to maximize quality, minimize cost and optimize efficiencies in the manufacturing process. Our capabilities include pre-formulation, formulation development, process development, and validation of complete solid systems, such as tablets and capsules, as well as powder fills. Delivery technologies include immediate release systems, modified release systems including delayed-release and extended-release, chewable tablets, quick dissolve tablets, two piece hard shell capsules and taste masking. Our labs are equipped with all the equipment necessary for complete pilot manufacturing including full-scale production trials. All equipment was specifically chosen to allow rapid transfer to production, minimizing start up times for product transfer.
