As VP of Quality, Ramon Torres manages Quality Operations and Compliance for all PLD facilities. In this role, he provides global oversight for the quality function across all departments, including the conformance of records, controls, procedures, materials, and practices with all applicable regulatory requirements and PLD specifications. Ramon utilizes Six Sigma/Lean methodologies, including QbD (Quality by Design) methodology, to enhance operational efficiencies and drive systemic improvements by implementing quality, productivity, and value in daily performance. Prior to PLD, Ramon worked for ICI Paints, General Electric, Pfizer Pharmaceutical, and Watson Pharmaceutical. He holds a B.S. in Material Science & Engineering from The Ohio State University.
